From my own experience, Bune is an evolving chthonic spirit, or, if you prefer, a chthonic daemon. A pact with Bune is an alliance and not a Faustian bargain. Although esoteric tradition holds that alliances are only sealed with beings of the uranian world, such as angels, my lived experience proves that it is entirely possible to form an alliance with a chthonic daemon like Bune.
